Celebrating one year of Lisson Gallery's Shanghai exhibition space

25 March 2020

This week, Lisson Gallery marks one year since the opening of Lisson Gallery Shanghai. In March 2019, the gallery opened on Huqiu Road, Lisson's fifth permanent exhibition space globally. Since the first group show, 'Love is Metaphysical Gravity', the space has housed exhibitions with Ryan Gander, Richard Long and Christopher Le Brun, and is happy to announce its Autumn line-up with major shows by Shirazeh Houshiary and Julian Opie.

David Tung, Director of Lisson Gallery Shanghai, says: "Our current global state offers opportunity for reflection, for appreciation of our good fortune, and gratitude towards our friends and family. We would like to take this moment to acknowledge all of our friends and partners here in China, and internationally, who we have worked closely with over the last year, since formally opening in Shanghai, and the many years before that. Long may our collaborations continue."

Lisson's Shanghai space is currently open by appointment only. Contact shanghai@lissongallery.cn to book a visit, and find out more about our exhibitions here.
