The latest instalment of Lisson Studio steps inside the home and studio of the late Peter Joseph, with the publishing of a never-before-seen extract of an interview conducted with the artist in 2011 with Hans Ulrich Obrist. Ahead of Joseph's second exhibition at Lisson Gallery in New York, 'The Border Paintings', this excerpt focuses on the aesthetic epiphany that came to Joseph during a visit to the cinema in 1971, which would characterise this particular body of work and his broader practice over the next three decades.
