UCCA Beijing announces Lawrence Weiner survey exhibition as part of 2024 programme

In a survey exhibition opening on 20 July 2024, UCCA Beijing will present a selection of key works by Lawrence Weiner, chosen in collaboration with Lawrence Weiner Estate.

Featuring text works dating from the 1970s through the 2010s, alongside archival materials, this exhibition marks Weiner’s first institutional presentation in China since his work “TO ALLOW THE LIGHT” was commissioned and presented in 2007 as part of UCCA’s inaugural series of exhibitions. The exhibition is curated by UCCA curator Yan Fang.

The exhibition will run from 20 July – 20 October 2024.
