Art21 has announced details of the tenth season of its award-winning television series, Art in the Twenty-first Century – the longest-running television series on contemporary art, now in its third decade. Season ten features twelve artists and one collective across three episodes that chart artmaking in London, Beijing, and regions around the United States-Mexico border.

Episode one visits four London-based artists including John Akomfrah and Anish Kapoor, while episode two features Liu Xiaodong as the series heads to Beijing. Full details and links to episodes are below:

London (18 September)
Featuring: John Akomfrah, Phyllida Barlow, Anish Kapoor, and Christian Marclay

Beijing (25 September)
Featuring: Guan Xiao, Liu Xiaodong, Song Dong & Yin Xiuzhen, and Xu Bing

Borderlands (2 October)
Featuring: Tanya Aguiñiga, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Richard Misrach, and Postcommodity

Season 10 premieres Friday 18 September at 10pm on PBS in the United States and online at Art21.org.
