On 20 June, on the occasion of Laure Prouvost’s exhibition Nous, frissons d’étoiles (Eng. We Felt a Star Dying) at Grand Palais, LAS Art Foundation presents an afternoon of conversations exploring the evolving landscape of quantum technologies at Grand Palais. As the lead commissioning institution for the project, LAS worked closely with Prouvost on the development of the project, bringing her into dialogue with a prominent quantum scientist and philosopher.
This programme brings together perspectives from quantum science, artistic practice and public policy to explore how emerging quantum technologies are being developed and understood across society. It spans presentations on the quickly evolving industry, sensory and imaginative approaches to quantum concepts, and questions of ethics, access and governance. Throughout, the programme considers both the possibilities and responsibilities that emerge as quantum systems move from the microscopic realm into everyday life.
Saturday 20 June, 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
