Julian Opie presentation opens at Newlands House Gallery

A rare exhibition showcasing Julian Opie’s personal collection of both contemporary and ancient art, accompanied by a selection of original works from 1998 to the present, will open on 6 November 2021 at Newlands House Gallery.
'Collected Works/Works Collected' showcases over 100 objects from the artist’s personal collection, ranging from the ancient world to the present day, alongside a selection of his own sculptures, paintings and films. Presented in the historic market town of Petworth in Newlands House Gallery’s Georgian building, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity for visitors to see how Opie’s interests and journey as a collector, inform the art he makes himself.
On view from 6 November 2021 – 2 March 2022.
