In the studio with Jason Martin

To coincide with his latest exhibition at Lisson Gallery London, entitled Long Way Home, Jason Martin reveals the processes and materials behind the creation of a new painting. Made over the course of one day in the studio, it reveals his use of horizontal strata of tonally shifting colours to produce light effects, incidents of chance and references to landscape or atmosphere.
