Hugh Hayden shares his cornbread recipe for MoMA's "Cooking with Artists" series

27 May 2020

“My sculptures and culinary installations—they’re seductive ideas and something you want to participate in—but they’re difficult spaces to inhabit.” –Hugh Hayden

Hugh Hayden shares his famous recipe for cornbread pudding and discusses the importance of his culinary installations, his earliest childhood memories of meals with his family and how food influences his sculpture as part of The Museum of Modern Art's ongoing series "Cooking with Artists" with chef Mina Stone and MoMA PS1. The series of video interviews is focused on home cooking, and how food, like art, can comfort in times of crisis.
