Coalition for the Homeless' Artists Plate Project 2021

12 November 2021

The 2020 Artist Plate Project, created in lieu of the Coalition for the Homeless' annual event ARTWALK NY, was a tremendous success, raising $1.5 million to provide food, crisis services, PPE, housing, and other critical aid to thousands of homeless and at-risk New Yorkers during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2021 Artist Plate Project, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Coalition, features stunning and unique images by more than 40 world-renowned artists – including Julian Opie, Lawrence Weiner, Carmen Herrera & Ai Weiwei – on limited-edition fine bone-china plates, which will go on sale to the public from 19 November. The sale of just one plate can feed 100 homeless and hungry New Yorkers.
