Work by Ai Weiwei and Anish Kapoor feature in Sotheby’s sale for food surplus charity The Felix Project

24 July 2020

Following the launch of The Evening Standard’s Food For London Now and The Independent’s Help the Hungry appeals, the proceeds from a number of artworks in Sotheby's Contemporary Art Day Sale (20 – 30 July) will raise funds for the food redistribution charity The Felix Project, and their campaign to build London's largest ever community kitchen. Among the works included are Ai Weiwei's Small Plate with Flowers and a series of three etchings by Anish Kapoor.

The Felix Project is the capital's largest food surplus distributer, collecting quality food from the food industry that can no longer be sold and would otherwise go to waste.
