Gorgeous Nothing 14, Following a bee, 2026
Archival inkjet print, colored pencil and collage on paper
23.5 x 17.1 cm
9 ¼ x 6 ¾ in
Gorgeous Nothing 14 features a printed segment of wallpaper from Emily Dickinson's bedroom, dating from her lifetime—a piece that was central to an extensive forensic study by the Emily Dickinson Museum in Amherst, MA. While the pattern of the bee's flight is an invention of Finch’s, it is informed by his many years of observing their natural movements.
