Pedro Reyes
New York, 11 September - 1 November 2025

This fall in New York, Lisson Gallery will present monumental stone sculptures and intimate mosaics by Pedro Reyes. Working in volcanic rock, onyx, tezontle, and reclaimed wood, Reyes explores a vocabulary that draws from pre-Columbian mythologies, modernist abstraction, and classical antiquity. Totemic forms and animal figures—including jaguars, coyotes, and axolotls—populate a vivid, sculptural landscape. Debuting a new series of mosaics, the show also expands Reyes’ material inquiry. Bold, tactile, and contemplative, the exhibition invites visitors into a dialogue between past and present, nature and culture, myth and modernity.
