Rashid Rana wins Asia Society's 2017 Asia Arts Award

Pakistani artist Rashid Rana has been awarded the 2017 Asia Society Asia Arts Award.
Announced on 23 March in Hong Kong, the Asia Arts Award is a signature event honouring game changers in contemporary Asian art. Past honorees include Bharti Kher, Lee Ufan, Liu Guosong, Nyoman Masriadi, Takashi Murakami, Shahzia Sikander, Do Ho Suh, Wucius Wong, Xu Bing, Zeng Fanzhi and Zhang Xiaogang.
Rana will be in conversation with Boon Hui Tan, Vice President for Global Arts and Cultural Programs, and Director, Asia Society Museum, NY, at Asia Society Hong Kong Center on Friday 24 March from 12:30 – 13:30. Free entry, no booking required.
