2008Description
A figure representing the 'author', partly obscured by a group of paintings,
holds in front of him the announcement of the arrival of the new year.
The figure is placed in front of the structure of the 'Immaculate Conception'
(the work is a study for this piece, presented at Paolini's solo exhibition at
the Lisson Gallery in 2008). The four numbers inscribed in the squares refer
to the number of the edition, as well as marking the transition from one year
to the next (the edition was realised at the end of 2008 for the New Year).
