Jemima Stehli
Artist Cv
Jemima Stehli's works are a series of photographic experiments in which she places herself within the photograph as the subject or object, and often as both. In doing so she explores the relationship between sculpture, photography and performance and underlies the tensions that exist between these mediums. Stehli's work often appropriates iconic imagery from various artists, ranging from Helmut Newton to Allen Jones to Larry Bell, investigating the traditions of Art History and exploring the relationships between herself and these traditions.
Jemima Stehli lives and works in London
